I just finished this book in October for my book club, and I found it to be an excellent read. The story spans the course of thirty years and focuses on the friendship of its two major characters that met as young teenagers. For anyone that has had a girlfriend that you have been friends with for years, this will take you back, and at the same time, make you appreciate your relationships, whether they are in the past, or still with you. The writing is well done, you truly “care” about the characters, and I found it to be a quick read. I had never read Ms. Hannah before, but have found out she’s quite a prolific writer, and I plan to read some of her other novels soon. When I do, I will post! Enjoy.
