Guest Post by Randall C Jackson:
Ok, I’ve been humbly writing a novel for the past year or so and that is really a major reasons I wanted to help out with the book review site here. I feel you must immerse yourself in the art totally if you are to write a good novel – right? Well, one of my main tools in getting as far as I have has been with this Lady’s system. Now folks, I am a 350 pound man with a knack for putting a story on paper, and I really had to humble myself to this little tiny woman’s awesome methods!
So that is the “Novel Writing System” – and what helps me to bring it together is really the novel approach to software writing provided by the following novel writing software:
StoryCraft Software Novel Writing
This is the first one I tried. I went ahead and bought it based on what I heard from a friend of a friend and was pleased – it’ll always serve it’s purpose in my story writing arsenal. I think you have to let some software just sort of do it’s thing and guide you in the story building process, and you’d be amazed at how fast the ideas flow in this sort of method. If you really want to focus on THE STORY and you have just hundreds in your head, you might think about this.
And now for my humble finale, my biggest secret to writing my 300 page novel; simple children’s instructions. That’s right, this approach to novel writing is simply the clearest, most direct thing I have found in all of my searches in novel writing – I even took a night class! I think I spent maybe twenty bucks on that and by the time I was done I knew I had all the tools I would need to be a great novel writer.
I’ve done a lot of other things in my life, and was always daunted by writing a novel about my life or my experiences, until now. These tools I talk about are pretty much the main way I get things going in my writing career. No, I’m not the Randy Jackson, but I am a Randy Jackson and I got a story to tell!
Thanks Best Book Review for letting me post a little about my favorite novel writing tools!
