I just read the final galley proof of The Potter’s Keeper to be released in about three months. It is a book that traces the 10,000 year history of economic development with incredible story telling through the eyes of ceramics. It reads like a John Grisham cliffhanger novel and when I was finished I realized I’d also learned the true economic history of the world from a world class economist.
I am a friend of the author who asked me to read through the final pre-publication copy and write a review on this site. I’m told the book will be available everywhere (bookstores, Amazon, from the publisher, etc.) on June 3rd. If you want to learn economics without even knowing it – and be on the edge of your seat with the stories he tells – get a copy of The Potter’s Keeper by Kevin Cochrane when it comes out in June.
